何要預先計劃

我們的客戶因為不同的理由而出售公司。無論如何,對於公司擁有人來說,他們在人生的某個階段必須退出,包括在以下情況:

(1) 我現在不需要
在一般情況下,要成功出售企業可以花上1-2年的時間,如果你把籌備時間都計算在內,以及希望以最高價值出售。到你真的需要退出時一切也太遲了。
 
‚(2) 出售予同行/朋友
“作為一個資深商人,我已經和很多同行及其他商人建立了人脈關係。為甚麼我要經一個中間人出售?”這是我們最常遇到的錯誤觀念之一。事實上,你的同行或其他生意夥伴往往不願意以高價買入你的企業,因為他們相信自己十分了解你的公司。
 
ƒ‚(3) 我的企業前途一片光
我們相信有能力的企業家會把一切安排妥當,但所有業務或行業都會受市場週期影響。理性及正確的決定是成功的重要因素。我們必須避免讓個人情感影響商業決定。所以,如果增長已放緩,或有更吸引的機會出現,退出的最佳時間可能已經出現。
 
„‚(4) 承人會接管企業
中國人傳統思想希望子女或親人繼承生意。然而,在這個年代這不一定會發生了。同時,讓管理層接手企業的擁有權往往是不合適或不高明的做法。
 
 
 
(1) don’t need it now
         Under normal circumstances, it could take 1-2 year for a company to be successfully sold, if you take into account the preparation time, and if you wish your asset to be sold at maximum value. It is too late when you really need to sell.
 
‚(2) Sell to your competitors/friends 
        “As a sophisticated businessman, I have established relationship with many competitors and other businessmen. Why should I sell through a middleman?” This is one of the mistaken belief we have often come upon. The truth is your competitors or business partners will usually be less willing to purchase your company at a high price, due to their belief that they have good understanding of your company.
ƒ(3) My company has an excellent prospect
         We believe capable entrepreneurs will do their job well, but all businesses and industries have a market cycle. Rational and correct decisions are crucial components of success. We should avoid emotional affection to influence a business decision. Therefore, if growth is diminishing, or a more lucrative opportunities emerge, perhaps it is the right timing to exit.
 
„(4) Successor will take-over
         It is old Chinese’s belief that children or family members shall become the successor. However, it will not always happen now. It may also be inappropriate or unwise to let your manager take-over your corporate.
